Charged per visit.

The fair-use rule: every plan includes up to 4 visits per month. The Interior Plan includes 1 free exterior wash a month, and extra washes are $10 each, up to 4 a month.
One vehicle, one owner

A membership is signed up for one specific vehicle, recorded by plate or VIN at your assessment. It can't be shared, transferred, gifted to another car, or used on a different vehicle. Need to swap cars? Once a year we'll re-assess the new vehicle and move your plan over. Two cars means two memberships.

Maintenance, not restoration

We confirm a membership only for cars we've already cleaned or looked over first. Your first detail is priced after that assessment and may vary with the car's condition. After that, plans cover maintenance-level cleaning. If a car arrives in worse shape than maintenance level (heavy pet hair, mud, spills, smoke, mold), we'll let you know and may charge an extra fee or recommend a paid reset detail.

Scheduling

Book at least 24–48 hours ahead. Visits are scheduled around availability, and same-day requests aren't guaranteed. Priority scheduling means first pick of open slots, not a guaranteed date. Unused visits don't roll over or carry a cash value.

Cancellations & no-shows

Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged a $35 fee, and two missed visits in a row pause your membership. Weather reschedules are always free.

Billing & ending your membership

Memberships are billed monthly in advance and carry a 3-month minimum. After that, cancel any time with 30 days' notice before your next billing date. There are no prorated refunds. A failed payment pauses service until it's resolved. Your rate is locked while your membership is active; if it lapses, rejoining is at the current rate.

What's not included (upcharges)

Member upgrades per visit: extra exterior wash $10 (Interior Plan), hand wax $35, clay bar $40–$60, tire & wheel detail $15–$25. Always priced separately: paint correction (from $60 per panel), ceramic coating (starting at $400), seat removal deep clean ($80–$150) and headlight restoration ($80–$120). Heavy-soil conditions are quoted before we start.

Commercial & oversized vehicles

Commercial, rideshare, delivery and fleet vehicles are excluded from standard memberships and quoted separately. Oversized vehicles (dually trucks, RVs, buses) are quoted separately too. Our starting prices assume a standard car, SUV or truck.

Our right to refuse service

We photograph pre-existing damage at your first visit. We may decline or end service for unsafe conditions, harassment or payment chargebacks. If you're not happy with a visit, tell us within 48 hours and we'll make it right; a redo for a quality issue doesn't count as a visit.

What is the difference between PRO+ and MAX G+?

MAX G+ is the top-tier coating, with a 30% glossier finish and the longest gloss retention, ideal for show cars and new paint. PRO+ is the workhorse: ultra-hydrophobic with a 6-year manufacturer warranty when installed by an Accredited Installation Center (which we are). Logan Seme, owner of On The Road Detail

Hey — I'm Logan Seme, founder of On The Road Detail. OTR is a three-man crew right here in Wadsworth — me and two of my best friends, building it together from the ground up. The promise behind every detail we take on is simple: same care, same attention, same finish — whether it's a daily commuter or your weekend pride-and-joy.

We run OTR mobile first. We bring the whole rig to your driveway, your work, or anywhere you need us — water, power, pro-grade products, all of it — so there are no shuttle rides and no waiting around for us. If you would rather bring the car to us, drop-offs are welcome too, and the price is exactly the same.

I'm a recent WVU grad. We're System X® Accredited for ceramic coatings, fully insured, and trained on the same chemicals and tools the high-end shops use. The difference is we bring the shop to you — and we treat every car we touch like it's our own.

Do you come to my house?

Yes — On The Road Detail is fully mobile. We bring everything we need (water, power, equipment) to your home, your work, or anywhere you need us in our service area, including driveways, office parking lots, and jobsites.

Can I drop my car off instead?

How much does mobile car detailing cost?

Every service has a price range, and we confirm your exact price after we see your vehicle — there is no vehicle size to pick. OTR Quick Clean runs $170–$200, Premium Interior $275–$305, the OTR Bundle is a special $225, and Premium Full is $375–$425. Paint correction starts at $60 per panel or $350 for the whole vehicle, System X® ceramic coating starts at $400, and monthly memberships start at $80 a month. Full details are on the Services tab.

How long does a detail take?

Roughly 1 hour for an OTR Quick Clean, about 2 hours for a Premium Interior, 1.5–2 hours for an OTR Bundle, and about 3 hours for a Premium Full. Paint correction takes 2–3 hours and ceramic coating typically takes 1–2 days.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Is mobile car detailing the same as a car wash?

A car wash cleans the outside; a detail goes much further — interior shampooing, leather and plastics conditioning, paint decontamination, polishing, and protective coatings. We offer full-detail packages for a deeper restore, plus monthly memberships that keep it that way.

Do you do trucks and SUVs?

Yes — we detail cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans. Each package has a price range; larger vehicles like full-size pickups and three-row SUVs land toward the top of it, and we confirm the exact price after we see your vehicle.

How do I book?

Do you do mobile car detailing in Akron, OH?

Yes — Akron is in our regular service area. We're based in Wadsworth and most Akron details are scheduled within 3–5 days. We cover Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Hudson, Tallmadge, Fairlawn, and Copley as well.

Do you do mobile car detailing in Cleveland, OH?

Yes — we serve greater Cleveland and Cuyahoga County including Lakewood, Strongsville, Parma, Westlake, Brecksville, and Independence. Cleveland bookings typically schedule a few days out so we can route the trip efficiently.

What's the difference between paint correction and ceramic coating?

Paint correction is a machine-polishing process that removes existing scratches, swirls, and oxidation in your paint — restoring depth and gloss. Ceramic coating is a protective layer applied on top of (corrected) paint to lock in the gloss and resist UV, road salt, and contaminants. The two are usually done together: correct first, then coat.

Do you offer interior-only detailing?

Yes — and Premium Interior is the one built for it. It's our deep-clean tier: hot-water extraction for set-in stains, heavy dog and pet hair removal, and odor treatment for smoke, pets, and spills, plus leather and plastics conditioning and a full reset of every interior surface. If the mess is light, the OTR Quick Clean is enough. Premium Interior runs $275–$305, and we confirm the exact price after we see your vehicle.

How do I prepare my car for a mobile detail?

Two things: pull personal items out of the cabin and trunk, and park somewhere we can reach with our rig (a flat driveway, office lot, or paved space works). We bring water, power, and all products — you don't need to do anything else. We'll text when we're 15 minutes out.

Are you insured?

Yes, On The Road Detail is fully insured. We're also a System X® Accredited Installation Center, which means our ceramic coating work carries the official manufacturer warranty when properly registered.
